Laura’s philosophy is that training starts from the moment we pick up a halter and approach a horse. Groundwork is not something that is reserved for the round pen but a habit we that should bring every moment with our horses. If we start off connected, we can continue that connection once under saddle getting the most out or horses as part of our team.

Lessons
Every rider is taught to take care of the horses from the ground up. From beginner to advanced, each student will learn how horses talk to humans and how we can listen, as well as tacking up, leading, tying, groundwork in and out of the arena and of course, riding where we focus on the fundamentals of dressage and biomechanics in our flatwork and over fences.
Training
Laura specializes in horses who have anxiety, fear, behavior problems, or simply are having a hard time with their job. The goal is to find connection and trust first. Then the process of working towards the rider’s goals can begin!
Showing
We have a team of riders who enjoy competing! It’s important to us to show our riders what they can work towards. Shows help us establish goals and can be a great way to assess our development. We are happy to head to dressage shows or hunter/jumper shows!
